Quality Assurance Consultant

Overview

Genesis
10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Newark, DE. This is a 12+ month contract position.

• Work with project teams to ensure standard quality practices/processes are followed
• Perform SIT/End-to-end testing on applications and technology, to ensure business, technical, functional requirements are being met throughout the SDLC
• Design and execute test scripts based upon test strategy/plans in an effort to identify defects prior to production
• May also include Production Certification which requires manual/automated scripts be executed to certify production health and/or identify post-production defects

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in QA testing
• 2+ years of Selenium Automation experience
• Knowledge and working experience on Agile testing Methodology
• Hands-on experience in Web Services testing including Soap UI/XML, REST/JSON, MQ and Unix
• Experience on Frontend, ETL and Database testing, with extensive working experience in writing and executing SQL queries
• Unix, SQL Putty, Soap UI, WinSCP App Watch MQ, Splunk, JBoss
• Autosys, TOAD, HP ALM JIRA
• Log validations experience or Files validations manually
• Unix commands experience

• API testing
• Middleware MQ/Kafka testing
• BDD Selenium automation

Pay Range: $50.42-$58.42
