Theoris is seeking a systems-minded DAM Librarian / Content Operations Manager to lead strategy across digital asset, CMS, and workflow platforms. This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, digital asset management, metadata architecture, and automation.
This individual will own the DAM/CMS ecosystem end-to-end, driving platform governance, scalable workflows, and intelligent automation across the content lifecycle. The role partners closely with engineering, product, design, and content teams to ensure digital assets are organized, compliant, and efficiently delivered. The ideal candidate is a strategic content operations leader with deep DAM and metadata expertise who has owned platform strategy, governance, and automation initiatives, and can provide direction across engineering, product, and content teams.
ResponsibilitiesPlatform Strategy & Governance
- Define and execute the strategy for DAM, CMS, and workflow tool integration.
- Establish governance models, permissions, and lifecycle standards across platforms.
- Develop scalable workflows for asset usage, reuse, and automation.
- Design and maintain metadata strategies and taxonomies for fast, accurate asset discovery.
- Ensure assets meet quality, compliance, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate asset management across DAM, CMS, and workflow systems.
- Implement automation for tagging, routing, version control, and quality checks.
- Partner with engineering to deploy AI-driven workflow and metadata solutions.
- Build reusable templates and scalable content processes.
- Own and evolve the DAM/CMS strategy across the organization.
- Provide direction on platform governance, workflow design, and automation priorities.
- Guide cross-functional teams on best practices for content operations.
- Act as the primary subject-matter expert for DAM and content platform strategy.
- Train teams on DAM best practices, workflows, and governance standards.
- Create documentation, training materials, and support resources.
- Continuously improve system efficiency using analytics and user feedback.
- Operate as the content operations lead within agile teams.
- Participate in backlog grooming, stand-ups, and planning sessions.
- Partner with engineering, design, and content teams to ensure proper asset implementation.
- Present strategies and recommendations to stakeholders.
- 4–6+ years in DAM, CMS, or content operations roles.
- Demonstrated experience owning or leading DAM/CMS strategy.
- Deep expertise in metadata, taxonomy design, and asset lifecycle management.
- Experience improving workflows and implementing automation.
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise CMS/DAM platforms.
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, product, and content teams.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Adobe Workfront

- Salesforce or similar CRM/CMS platforms
- Experience in agile or product‑team environments
- Background in regulated or complex industries
- Exposure to AI‑driven automation or analytics
