The Solution Architect is accountable for analyzing demands, architecture and designing comprehensive solutions that meet business requirements and defines solution architecture in line within SHS architecture principles.
Orchestrates IT solutions from several IT services and ensures efficient and seamless solutions are provided across local operations and/or external providers.
Is responsible for the secure design of systems and solutions.
The IT Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic direction of our Labelling digital platform. This position requires a blend of analytical expertise, business acumen, and a deep understanding of label printing technology platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the label printing platform is aligned with business needs and overall company strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Ownership of the system including System Updates, interfaces, technical standards and Cyber Security
- Site Rollouts and Co-Ordination, Support the onboarding of new printers
- Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery:
Oversee DR planning (RTO/RPO), testing, backups, and restoration activities - Major Incident Owner
- New Functionality Design & Review, Support the design process of new functionality to ensure it meets Healthineers standards
- System Monitoring:
Continuously track cloud services, logs, and security incidents to maintain integrity - Support the IT Business Partners and/or IT Portfolio Owners develop business value solutions through the demand process and into Project Implementation
- Collaborate with IT Business Partners, IT Portfolio Owners, Business Stakeholder and Process SMEs to gather requirements and translate business needs into strategic recommendations.
- Develop business cases and models to evaluate new platform features, partnerships, or expansion opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment via SHS IT architecture and Digital strategy via close collaboration with the Enterprise Architecture team
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technological advancements relevant to digital platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a IT business analyst or strategy analyst, preferably in a platform or technology-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
- Process knowledge in SCM, Manufacturing (preferable labeling process in regulated environment)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with platform business models, digital ecosystems, and agile methodologies is highly desirable.
- Previous experience with developing interfaces, with proficiency in REST API development (Python, JavaScript) an advantage.
- Experience with enterprise labeling technologies (e.g Kallik, Loftware, etc) would be helpful
