Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and SAP consultants to define and document requirements for SAP implementation in a manufacturing environment.
- Analyze and document how Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Vendor Management Systems (VMS) integrate and work with SAP.
- Lead workshops, Kaizen events, and Lean process mapping sessions to capture current and future state business processes.
- Develop detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, functional specifications, and gap analyses.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, supply chain, product management, and sales operations to ensure requirements are aligned with organizational goals.
- Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams, ensuring clarity of requirements and smooth project execution.
- Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management activities.
- Provide input into continuous improvement initiatives for IT and business processes.
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in manufacturing, supply chain, product management, or sales operations.
- Strong experience in SAP (implementation or enhancement projects).
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing/shop floor systems such as MES and their integration with SAP.
- Proven ability to lead Kaizen/Lean workshops, perform process mapping, and facilitate requirements-gathering sessions.
- Strong documentation skills, including business requirements, process maps, and specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.
- Experience with supply chain, material management, logistics, planning, product specifications, or BOMs.
- Exposure to sales operations or e-commerce processes.
- Knowledge of SAP modules relevant to manufacturing and supply chain.
- Experience in large-scale SAP transformation or rollout programs.
