Role Overview The technical product owner/business analyst will work with IT and Business partners to define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. This role serves as a facilitator between Business and IT, understanding business needs and playing a key part in the management and success of projects. This position leads the planning, eliciting, analyzing, validating, and managing of requirements, business processes, and solution design through the entire project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning, eliciting, analyzing, validating, and managing of requirements and business processes.
- Partner with Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, and IT interfacing groups to define solutions.
- Manage high-level solution design, test case design, and implementation planning and support.
- Combine business and technology skills with leadership, communication, negotiation, and facilitation.
- Handle multiple projects concurrently, adapting to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Education:
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent four-year experience in a related field is required.
Experience:
A minimum of five years of experience in a technical product owner or business analyst role within a project-based environment is required. Prior development experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies; experience with tools like Jira is preferable.
- Proficiency in project and software development methodologies and techniques.
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-management skills.
- Effective communication skills for interacting at different levels within the organization.
- Solid presentation, facilitation, and workshop skills.
