We are seeking an Associate Legal Counsel to join our Operations Compliance team. This is a unique opportunity for an attorney with two to four years of experience to gain direct in‑house experience, working at the intersection of law, compliance, and technology. The role will focus on developing innovative compliance frameworks, leveraging proprietary technology, and ensuring the company maintains best‑in‑class compliance across its national operations.
Responsibilities- Support the development of the Operations Compliance division by learning and applying Power’s proprietary Nitro platform to monitor, audit, and manage project compliance.
- Conduct audits of business processes, records, and documentation to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify process inefficiencies, human errors, and potential compliance risks.
- Provide actionable feedback to leadership on process improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
- Assist in designing, implementing, and improving compliance monitoring tools and systems to proactively detect issues.
- Ensure that legal documentation and operational records are properly executed, organized, and maintained.
- Collaborate with in‑house attorneys and compliance managers to support audits, investigations, and proactive compliance initiatives.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and regulatory trends to support innovative compliance practices.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 2‑4 years of legal experience in compliance, technology, or corporate practice.
- Demonstrated knowledge of compliance fundamentals and experience working with software or hardware systems.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal and technical concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
- A self‑starter with grit, determination, and an eagerness to grow as an in‑house attorney.
Business‑minded approach to legal strategy, balancing risk and operational goals.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Detail‑oriented with excellent project and time management capabilities.
Highly collaborative and relationship‑driven; able to work with stakeholders across departments and levels.
Comfortable navigating complex legal issues independently and making strategic decisions.
Proactive, agile, and highly organized in fast‑paced environments.

The Associate Legal Counsel will work in a state‑of‑the‑art office environment at our corporate headquarters. This is not a remote or hybrid position. Some travel may be required.
