Senior Electronics Commodity Manager

Bloom Energy is leading the global energy transition with solid oxide fuel cell technologies. We are seeking a Senior Electronics Commodity Manager to join our team in Newark, DE, reporting to the Senior Director, Commodities. This is a fully on‑site, in‑office role.

• Lead short‑ and medium‑term strategies for assigned commodities and align supplier strategies accordingly.
• Ensure materials availability to support production and order fulfillment.
• Execute the Business Continuity Plan by identifying and mitigating supply risks.
• Drive cost reduction through negotiation, cost modeling, benchmarking, and make‑vs‑buy analysis.
• Support release of prototype or qualification material orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Manage supplier performance related to quality, continuous improvement, qualification, and reduce cost of poor quality.
• Develop new suppliers and contract manufacturers; conduct audits, scorecards, and QBRs.
• Work closely with contract manufacturers to support technology transfer and DFM activities.
• Facilitate problem‑solving groups to meet current and future needs.
• Build strong cross‑functional relationships to drive success across procurement, engineering, quality, manufacturing, finance, marketing, sales, and product management.

• BS/MS/MBA in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Technology, or Supply Chain; experience in mechanical design is a plus.
• 10+ years of supply‑chain experience, ideally with electronics commodities.
• Technical knowledge of electronics components (magnetics, semiconductors, cables, contacts, connectors).
• Experience managing electronics contract manufacturers, master supplier agreements, pricing negotiations, and sourcing strategy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English;
  Spanish preferred.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (formulas and macros).
• Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing/planning functions.
• Ability to work under rapid change, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, self‑motivation, energy, and a team‑player attitude.

Role requires a minimum of 25% travel (domestic or international depending on commodity or supplier responsibility).
