Quantum 9, a leader in cannabis consulting, is partnering with a premier client that has been awarded cultivation licenses across Delaware. We are hiring three Cultivation Directors, each to oversee operations at one of the client’s facilities.
Position SummaryAs a Cultivation Director, you will oversee all cultivation activities at one of the state‑of‑the‑art facilities in Delaware, each with up to 12,500 square feet of living canopy. The role requires a detail‑oriented leader with a strong background in cannabis cultivation, regulatory compliance, and team management.
Key Responsibilities- Direct Cannabis Cultivation Operations: Lead cultivation activities at your assigned Delaware facility, ensuring optimal plant health, yield, and quality.
- Standardize Cultivation Protocols: Implement and refine cultivation practices to maximize efficiency and adhere to Delaware state regulations.
- Team Leadership and Development: Oversee and mentor cultivation staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Partner with quality and compliance teams to ensure all operations align with regulatory requirements.
- Data‑Driven Operations Management: Track facility KPIs, monitor environmental factors, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Resource Allocation and Inventory Control: Oversee inventory, supply chain management, and resources to maintain streamlined operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Plant Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cannabis cultivation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of cultivation best practices, including pest management, nutrient optimization, and environmental control.
- Strong understanding of Delaware cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Tier LED racking system expertise.
- Biological IPM experience.
- Pesticide‑free cultivation experience.
