The primary responsibility of this role is to be a sales resource for the Automation Portfolio—Controllers, I/O, Visualization, Networks, Motion Control/Mechanical, and Variable Frequency Drives. The position involves territory business development, pre-sales, and post-sales support, and content delivery to our inside and outside sales teams.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with automation manufacturers such as Rockwell Automation and partner vendors to drive commercial success.
- Partner with Kendall sales teams to develop business and close sales opportunities.
- Work with Kendall Inside Sales to create BOMs, process orders, and service customers.
- Guide customers in selecting product solutions for applications, projects, and pre-sales activities.
- Address post-sale technical questions, issues, and commercial situations for customers.
- Act as the primary contact for Rockwell Automation and partners within the coverage area.
- Participate in annual planning with Rockwell Automation and other automation partners.
- Maintain quality service by adhering to Kendall Group policies, procedures, and standards.

Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on electrical/mechanical knowledge and experience with PLCs, HMIs, Networks, Safety, Motion Control, VFDs, and other automation equipment.
- Understanding of manufacturing machinery, processes, networks, and analytics.
Education
- High School diploma or GED required.

- Experience designing control systems, equipment, and troubleshooting problems.
- Ability to collaborate with technical or commercial resources when needed.
- Business acumen, critical thinking, and analytical abilities.

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking and shifting priorities.

Work Experience
- Over 5 years in industrial distribution.
- Hands-on electrical/mechanical knowledge and experience with PLCs, HMIs, Networks, Safety, Motion Control, VFDs, and other automation equipment.
- Understanding of manufacturing machinery, processes, networks, and analytics.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology degree or certificate, or equivalent training/experience.
