Provide maintenance support and repairs to production machinery, computer systems and facility for a 24hr / 7 day manufacturing operation.
Electro-Mechanical Industrial Maintenance Technician 3 - Night Shift

Hours:
7:30PM – 6:00AM - Weekends are required for shutdown maintenance. Some overtime and holiday work may be required, as dictated by business needs.
Hourly Pay Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 DOE with Shift Differential of $1.25 per hour
Candidates must have experience performing electromechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of high-speed automated industrial machinery.
Primary functions: provide production support, troubleshoot technical problems, perform corrective and preventive maintenance to maximize throughput and efficiency. Additionally, performs the duties of Maintenance Technician 2 as required.
Key Duties / Responsibilities- Production Support (15%):
- Respond in a timely manner to all maintenance requests on the production floor.
- Train production technicians in the proper set‑up and copy troubleshooting techniques.
- Provide training and assistance to production technicians as needed to help maximize production output and minimize downtime through the utilization of proper production techniques and handling practices.
- Effectively diagnose mechanical, electrical, network, and computer hardware/software in assigned area (facility, machinery, equipment, etc.).
- Make timely and accurate repairs, as necessary, during production.
- Utilize illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair, modification and maintenance of equipment.
- Preventative Maintenance (35%):
- Inspect machinery for potential problems on a daily basis. Document problems and schedule work/repairs as appropriate.
- Respond to all assigned maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
- Responsible for performing preventive maintenance (PM) activities in accordance with the preventive maintenance plan. These activities will be recorded using proper PM sheets.
- Administrative (10%):
- Perform inventory control of parts and equipment used from inventory.
- Inform Supervisor of parts and equipment used from inventory.
- Record maintenance activities using the proper computer application or paperwork.
- Provide training and coaching to new maintenance technicians and inspect their work.
- Housekeeping/Other (5%):
- Perform housekeeping duties required of maintenance staff including work area clean‑up, machine and equipment clean‑up, sweeping up after clean‑up and various other general housekeeping duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associates Degree, technical certification, or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to speak and communicate effectively utilizing the English language.
- Powered Industrial Truck Certification preferred.
- 3-5 years related electro‑mechanical experience.
- Extensive hands‑on experience and detailed knowledge of:
- Industrial mechanical and electrical machines and systems.
- Computers hardware and software, specifically industrial controls and related I/O’s.
- Able to identify and perform Level A, B, & C equipment preventive maintenance.
- Able to diagnose equipment faults and malfunctions.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations/requirements.
- Able to read and understand schematics/blueprints.
- Strong Computer literacy:
Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet software. Ideal candidates will have experience with Inventory Software, Manufacturing Software, and Order Processing systems. - Plans and organizes daily work flow.
