Manufacturing Team Lead; Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Maintain on‑floor manufacturing activities ensuring safe operation and compliance with EHS policies and procedures.
• Ensure all quality requirements are met and enforce daily adherence by team members.
• Answer technical and welding questions and support troubleshooting of process flow issues.
• Process Oracle transactions and IoTs for material movement between plants and processes.
• Provide updates on unit findings to engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory management.
• Create, document, and sustain standardized work practices.
• Train and mentor technical team members using a hands‑on approach.
• Report attendance, quality, or performance issues to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
• Run the assembly team from a process standpoint and communicate issues to supervisor/manager.
• Identify non‑value added waste within the manufacturing process and recommend cost‑effective solutions.
• Assist in creation of Yamazumi charts and production line setup.
• Handle all rework components required for Unishell and Hotbox production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma required; AA degree preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, able to motivate and lead teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly motivated self‑starter and team player.
• Safe work practices and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing terminology and principles.
• Experience creating standardized work.
• Experience completing station audits.
• Experience creating Yamazumi charts and production line setup.
• Experience completing process technician responsibilities preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Flexibility to work fluctuating schedules if needed.

• Stand/walk for 10–12 hours per shift.
• Navigate the facility throughout the day.
• Occasionally lift/carry 25–50 lbs.
• Use hands and fingers to operate machinery controls and computers.
• Visual acuity sufficient for product inspection and reading materials.
• Hearing ability to detect alarms and communicate effectively with staff.
• Perform essential tasks with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Competency in written and verbal English for safety protocols, hazard communications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Salary Range: $21.29 - $30.63 per hour.
