Manufacturing Team Lead – Day Shift

Location:

Newark, DE (Full‑time on‑site, in office).

• Maintain on‑the‑floor manufacturing activities ensuring safety and compliance with EHS policies.
• Ensure all quality requirements are met and team members adhere daily.
• Answer technical & welding questions and support process flow restoration.
• Handle Oracle transactions and IOTs for material movement between plants and processes.
• Provide updates on unit findings to engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Cycle counts and inventory management.
• Create, document, and sustain standardized work practices.
• Train and mentor technical team members to troubleshoot techniques.
• Report attendance, quality, or performance issues to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
• Run the assembly team from a process standpoint; communicate issues with supervisor/manager as needed.
• Identify non‑value‑added waste and recommend cost‑effective elimination solutions.
• Assist in creation of Yamazumi and production line set‑up.
• Handle all rework components for Unishell and Hotbox production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma required; AA degree preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for cross‑functional coordination.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to motivate and lead teams.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self‑starter, highly motivated, and team player.
• Proven safe work practices and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing terminology and principles.
• Experience creating standardized work.
• Experience completing station audits.
• Experience creating Yamazumi and production line set‑up.
• Experience completing process technician responsibilities preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• Flexibility to work fluctuating schedules if needed.

• Ability to stand/walk up to 10‑12 hours per shift.
• Navigate facility throughout the day.
• Occasional lift/carry of 25–50 lbs.
• Operate machinery controls and computers with hands and fingers.
• Visual acuity sufficient for product inspection and reading materials.
• Hearing ability to detect alarms and communicate with staff.
• Perform essential tasks with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Competency in written and verbal English for safety protocols, hazard communications, and SOPs.

Competitive salary: $21.29 – $30.63 per hour.
