Schedule: Day shift, Night shift, & Weekend Shifts Available
Monday - Thursday (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), possible OT on Fridays
Monday - Thursday (7:00PM - 5:30AM or 6:00PM - 4:30AM)
Friday-Sunday (6am-6pm)
Pay Rate: $21-$24.15/hourly
We are seeking a Material Handler to join our Manufacturing team in Newark, DE. This role reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager and is fully on‑site. The ideal candidate will support warehouse and manufacturing operations by ensuring accurate material handling, inventory control, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast‑paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Verify accuracy, quantity, and quality of incoming deliveries
- Label and properly store all materials and products
- Identify, locate, and distribute parts and materials throughout the warehouse and manufacturing floor
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts
- Complete technical documentation for all returned materials
- Perform Oracle transactions for all inbound and outbound materials
- Conduct routine inspections of material handling equipment
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve missing, incorrect, or damaged shipments
- Move waste from manufacturing and warehouse areas to designated disposal locations
- Assist with developing and improving warehouse procedures to increase efficiency
- Train new employees using standard job instructions
- Follow all standard operating procedures, safety requirements, and PPE guidelines
- Maintain 5S and general housekeeping standards in warehouse and yard areas
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and stack lifters preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Experience with Oracle preferred
- Basic math and hand tool skills
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment and Lean Manufacturing systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build cross‑functional relationships
- Understanding of manufacturing products and equipment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, walk, and stand for extended periods (up to 2 hours consecutively)
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
