Production Operator

Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Correctly identify and build molds according to casting schedule.
• Assist in building loads for carbonization kilns.
• Assist in breaking down carbonization kiln loads.
• Clean infiltrated product, using the grit-blasting machines, per procedure.
• Maintain grit-blasting machines with basic preventive and routine maintenance (daily).
• Follow standard work procedures and detailed instruction.
• Prioritize in a multi-task work cell.
• Keep accurate written documentation.
• Maintain clean, safe and organized work environment.
• Assist in preparing and breaking down of furnace loads.
• All other duties, as assigned.

• Work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Able to get along well with others.
• Basic proficiency in data entry.
• Good communication (oral and written) skills.
• Ability to keep accurate records.

Manufacturing environment.

• Able to frequently lift/push/pull objects that are 50 pounds (or heavier with assistance) repeatedly.
• Able to sit, stand, bend, squat, and walk about the facility 12 hours/day.

Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
