Bloom Energy is seeking a Manufacturing Team Lead to join our team in Newark, DE. This fully on‑site role reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and involves overseeing floor manufacturing activities, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient process flow.
Role and Responsibilities- Maintain on‑floor manufacturing activities while ensuring compliance with EHS policies.
- Ensure that all quality requirements are met and that all team members adhere to these requirements daily.
- Answer technical and welding questions as they arise and assist in maintaining and restoring process flow.
- Process Oracle transactions and IOTs for material movement between plants and processes.
- Provide updates on unit findings with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory management.
- Create, document, and sustain standardized work practices.
- Train and mentor technical team members using a hands‑on approach.
- Report and attend to quality or performance issues to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
- Run the assembly team from a process standpoint and communicate issues with the supervisor/manager as required.
- Identify non‑value‑added waste in the manufacturing process and recommend cost‑effective solutions to eliminate waste.
- Assist in creating Yamazumi and production line set‑up.
- Manage rework components needed for Unishell and Hotbox production.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma required, AA degree preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills for cross‑functional communication.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to motivate and lead teams.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly motivated self‑starter and team player.
- Safe work practices and attention to detail.
- Familiar with lean manufacturing terminology and principles.
- Experience creating standardized work.
- Experience completing station audits.
- Experience creating Yamazumi and production line set‑up.
- Experience completing process technician responsibilities preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Must be flexible to work fluctuating schedules if needed.
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per shift.
- Navigate the facility throughout the day.
- Occasionally lift/carry up to 25-50 lbs.
- Use hands and fingers to operate machinery controls and computers throughout the shift.
- Visual acuity sufficient for product inspection and reading digital/printed materials.
- Hearing ability to detect alarms and communicate effectively with staff.
- Ability to perform essential tasks with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Demonstrates competency in written and verbal English communications.

$21.29 - $30.63 per hour.
