Position Summary

Qnity is seeking an experienced Inspection Supervisor to lead inspection operations supporting our Kalrez® manufacturing business at our Tralee Park facility in Newark, Delaware. Kalrez® parts are trusted in the world's most demanding semiconductor, electronics, chemical processing, and industrial applications where quality, reliability, and performance are critical.

In this role, you will provide frontline leadership to a team of inspectors responsible for ensuring products meet rigorous quality standards and customer requirements. You will drive operational excellence, employee development, and continuous improvement while partnering closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.

What You Will Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of inspection professionals in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure products meet established quality requirements and customer specifications.
  • Monitor daily inspection activities, staffing levels, workflow, and performance metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, productivity, and process efficiency.
  • Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Support production schedules by prioritizing inspection activities to meet customer demand.
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve product and process concerns.
  • Train and develop employees while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and inspection reporting.
What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field OR
  • High school diploma/GED with 10+ years of relevant manufacturing inspection, quality, or operations experience, including demonstrated leadership of people in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading teams in a manufacturing, quality, inspection, or production environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working with quality systems, procedures, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing reporting systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in chemical manufacturing, specialty materials, semiconductor, electronics, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, or other continuous improvement tools.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Previous responsibility for staffing, employee development, and performance management.
