- 7 a.m.), weekends, and holidays, as per department guidelines. Newark, DE

Christiana Care Hospital is currently seeking caring and committed Registered Nurses (RNs) to become part of the 6A ACE Unit at Newark Hospital.

• Provide care to five medical patients per shift on the 6A ACE Unit, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team including a unit-based Nurse Practitioner, physicians, pharmacy staff, physical therapists, and other support personnel.
• Work in a unit that may care for patients with serious surgical issues (e.g., fractured hips), recovery from stroke, COPD, back pain, UTIs, and patients with dementia requiring compassionate, comprehensive care.
• Participate in a 12-hour shift structure with options for Day (7 AM – 7 PM) or Night (7 PM – 7 AM) shifts, as per department guidelines.

• DE RN License or a Compact Nursing License is required.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Candidates with an ADN must obtain a BSN within three years of the hire date.
• All registered nurses (RNs) must have one year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
• A demonstrated passion for working with older adults is essential.
• Gerontology Certification preferred.
• BLS required.

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05

This pay rate/range represents Christiana Care’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual salary offered will depend on factors including skills, experience, and qualifications related to the job requirements.
