Christiana Care Hospital in Newark is currently seeking to hire a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support the 4A Medical Unit.

The Medical Surgical Unit for Long Stay is a 16-bed unit that provides round-the‑clock medical care. This unit accommodates patients who are awaiting long‑term placement or have complex discharge needs.

Our patient population consists of adults aged 18 and older, and their conditions are generally stable. Patients are typically received and transferred from medical or surgical inpatient floors.

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
• Eligible to be licensed in the State of Delaware.
• All candidates must have hospital setting acute care experience.
• BLS required.
• Sign commitment upon hire to obtain an RN license and then a subsequent BSN degree within the defined time frame.

Hourly Pay Range: $27.31 - $40.96. This pay rate/range represents Christiana Care’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
