Registered Nurse; RN - Night Shift Part time - Medical Stepdown

Job Overview

Christiana Care Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to work 24 hours per week on the Night Shift (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.) at the Christiana Hospital 3C Medical Unit Stepdown. Weekend and holidays are scheduled per department guidelines.

• Deliver holistic, patient- and family-centered care to ensure patient comfort and positive outcomes.
• Provide medication and disease process education.
• Closely monitor patients and manage any emergencies that may arise.
• Assume responsibility for a 4–5 patient assignment.
• Provide care to patients with diagnoses such as Respiratory Failure, COPD, Acute Renal Failure, GI Bleed, DKA, Sepsis, and others.
• Utilize telemetry monitoring, non-ventilator dependent trach collar, High Flow Nasal Cannula management, wound care, and related skills.

• BSN required.
• ADNs candidates may be considered if they commit to obtaining a BSN within three years of hire.
• At least one year of acute or sub-acute care experience preferred.
• BLS required.

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 – $66.05. This rate represents Christiana Care’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors, including but not limited to skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
