Summary:
Accountable for executing the growth strategy, direct P&L responsibility and overall goal execution of one SCAH facility.
- Champion SCAH’s HRO Journey and ensure leaders, teams and physicians achieve clinical excellence and drive zero harm through adoption and standardization of Clinical Quality standards.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing facility team of clinical and operational professionals focused on clinical quality outcomes, volume growth drivers, labor efficiencies and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with physicians to meet patient needs and exceed expectations.
- Build and manage a high-performing clinician team to deliver excellent patient care.
- Partner with the Medical Executive Committee, Governing Body and Board of Managers to develop clinical guidelines and implement the center’s response to changing community needs.
- Utilize hiring and development processes combined with sound judgment and decision making to ensure a high-performing team is in place.
- Provide teammates with authority, accountability, training, information and resources to achieve their full potential and drive center performance.
- Employ strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop confidence in your team and communicate clear expectations.
- Create vision and momentum that encourages change and drives organizational capability.
- Assess, attract, retain and develop internal personnel to meet performance expectations and future expansion needs.
- Demonstrate emotional maturity and ability to implement change in a rapidly evolving structure.
- Serve as on-site personnel director and ensure fair and prompt resolution of teammate complaints and grievances.
- Drive top-line growth and cultivate strong physician relationships.
- Own and be accountable for organic top-line growth via increased volume, strategic service line growth, new physician recruitment and expanding existing physician volume.
- Design and execute physician recruitment and marketing programs to drive case volume growth through partnerships with physicians, medical groups, health systems, local employers and third-party payers.
- Initiate and maintain strong physician relationships to support top-line growth, governance, board, partnership interests and trust in SCA as a preferred partner.
