Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care to students with acute and chronic health conditions
- Perform health screenings, manage immunization records, and provide first aid as needed
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to develop individualized healthcare plans
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with health policies and regulations
- Educate students and staff on health promotion and disease prevention
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide crisis management support
- Valid RN license for the state of Delaware
- Experience working as a school nurse or in a pediatric healthcare setting preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- CPR and First Aid certification required or obtained upon hire
- Newark, Delaware
