5D is a 35‑bed medical telemetry inpatient unit located on the 5th floor of Christiana Hospital. The unit serves as a stroke overflow unit and handles a wide variety of other diagnoses across all ages. We also partner with CCHP (Christiana Care Hospitalist Partners) by cohorting their patients on our unit.
Job SummaryWe are currently seeking an experienced registered nurse to work 36 hours per week on day shift at Christiana Hospital. Weekend and holiday coverage is required per department guidelines. Typical shift is 7a.m.–7p.m.
Qualifications and Requirements- BSN preferred; commitment to obtain within three years of hire considered with relevant experience.
- Current Delaware RN license or eligibility for Delaware RN license.
- 1–2 years of medical/surgical experience preferred.
- Telemetry experience a plus.
- BLS required.
Provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. Demonstrate strong critical thinking, prioritization, and anticipate the needs of patients and team members with compassion and generosity.
CompensationHourly pay range: $41.28 – $66.05. This rate is an estimate and will be adjusted based on individual factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications relative to job requirements.
