We operate the only Level I Trauma Center between Philadelphia and Baltimore. The Transitional Surgical Unit is an 18‑bed unit. We have a cohesive Nursing Team who serves patients with a multidisciplinary approach. The nurses on this unit work with neurosurgical, general surgical and adult/pediatric trauma patients.

• BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.
• Must have minimum 1–2 years stepdown experience.
• Critical Care experience strongly preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

This is a Day/Midnight rotating schedule of 7 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. Weekend and holiday schedule is per departmental & organizational practices.

$41.28 – $66.05. This pay rate/range represents Christiana Care’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including, but not limited to, skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
