Registered Nurse; RN - Night Shift Part time - Medical Stepdown

Registered Nurse – Night Shift (18hours/week, 7:00p.m.–7:00a.m.) at Christiana Hospital, 3C Medical Unit Stepdown and Progressive Care Unit (PCU).

• Deliver holistic, patient‑ and family‑centered care to 4–5 patients on each assignment.
• Monitor patients closely and manage any emergent situations.
• Provide education related to medications and disease processes.
• Support patients with a wide range of diagnoses including respiratory failure, COPD, acute renal failure, GI bleed, DKA, sepsis, and others.
• Participate in telemetry monitoring, non‑ventilator dependent trach collar and high‑flow nasal cannula management, wound care, and related tasks.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members and maintain a positive, professional approach.

• BSN required; ADNs may be considered if committed to obtaining BSN within three years of hire.
• Minimum of one year of acute or sub‑acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills.
