Registered Nurse - PCU

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role involves providing high-quality patient care to individuals requiring close monitoring and specialized nursing interventions. The RN will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care, promote patient safety, and support recovery in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Provide direct patient care in the PCU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
• Monitor patients with complex medical conditions requiring continuous observation and specialized treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and elevate concerns as appropriate.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory stan dards.

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred;
  Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented enviro nment.

• Prior experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Step-Down, or ICU settings.
• BSN degree with advanced clinical training.
• Familiarity with electronic health record syste ms.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (Preferred).
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification (Prefer
  red).
