Registered Nurse - Express Admissions Unit - Part Time Midnights

The Clinical Express Admissions Department (CEAD) is located in Christiana Hospital and is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse.

CEAD is a medical unit with telemetry designed to decompress the Emergency Department after patients receive an admitting order. Nurses are responsible for admission work and care progression until a bed becomes available on an inpatient unit. The successful candidate will demonstrate competency in medical/surgical nursing, practice autonomously to anticipate patient needs, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams when patient conditions change, possess excellent communication skills, and exhibit adaptability with high patient turnover.

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years from the date of hire.
• Registered Nurse with 2 years of experience in acute care.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred and must be willing to obtain after hire.

Part‑time night shift: 12‑hour shifts from 7 p‑m to 7:30 a.m., with every third weekend and rotating holidays.

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05. This range represents Christiana Care’s good faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting; the actual salary will depend on individual factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications.
