Schedule:

4:00 PM – 12:00 AM, on‑call, every other weekend.

Position:
Full‑time Registered Nurse (RN)

• Function as a member of the interdisciplinary team to coordinate hospice services for patients and families.
• Utilize the nursing process to provide quality nursing care in accordance with Delaware Hospice policy.
• Support the primary caregiver in the performance of physical care for the patient.
• Actively participate in coverage of all shifts as needed.
• Perform manual patient handling, including bending, squatting, driving for extended periods, and lifting/turning patients up to 60 lbs following industry safety standards.
• Adhere to health‑care industry safety guidelines, including protection from blood, body tissue, and fluids.

• Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Delaware.
• Valid driver’s license that meets policy guidelines.
• Graduate of an approved nursing school;
  Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Certification in hospice nursing preferred; CPR certification required.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience, preferably in hospice or home care.
