Job Overview

Christiana Care's Primary Care at Springside is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse II to deliver high‑quality, safe, and evidence‑based patient care. This role is responsible for achieving optimal patient outcomes through independent practice and collaborative teamwork within the clinical setting. The Registered Nurse II will apply the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, contributing as a trusted and integral member of the healthcare team.

Christiana Care Primary Care at Springside is located in Glasgow, Delaware. Springside provides comprehensive primary medical care services for adults and children, including gynecology and women’s health, immunizations, physical examinations, preventive medicine, and treatment for acute and chronic conditions. On‑site lab services are available to facilitate patient care and enhance diagnostic efficiency.

Christiana Care Primary Care at Springside is a well‑established, team‑based primary care practice staffed by five Physicians, two Physician Assistants, one Nurse Practitioner, two Registered Nurses, and eight Medical Assistants, supported by five Medical Office Assistants.

Monday through Fridays: 8:00am to 4:30pm. The role is part of a regional nursing team and may require periodic rotation to other locations as needed.

• Provide age‑appropriate, patient‑centered care to pediatric through geriatric populations in both virtual and in‑person settings.
• Deliver services such as wellness visits, care management, point‑of‑care testing, and triage, collaborating closely with providers to support examinations, procedures, and clinic operations.
• Serve as a liaison among patients, providers, and staff, ensuring clear communication, coordinating workflow, and responding to urgent situations.
• Support staff development through training and mentorship; participate in quality and compliance initiatives and contribute to process improvement efforts.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, patient education, and high‑quality care delivery.

• Graduate of a state‑approved or National League of Nursing accredited School of Nursing.
• Registered Nurse licensure or eligibility for licensure in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, or New Jersey depending on location of employment.
• At least two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse; physician office experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred;
  Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered with agreement to complete a BSN within three years.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Hourly Pay Range: $38.22–$61.16. The actual salary within this range will depend on individual factors including skills, relevant experience, and qualifications relative to job requirements.
