Overview
A hospital in Delaware is seeking a nurse practitioner to provide ongoing pediatric critical care coverage within a specialized cardiac ICU environment.
Responsibilities- Provide pediatric critical care coverage in a cardiac ICU setting.
- Support a mix of 12-hour and 24-hour shifts with a preference for nights and weekends.
- Commit to a minimum of three to five shifts per month.
- Manage an average patient volume of 14 patients per shift.
- Perform advanced critical care procedures including umbilical arterial and venous catheter placement and ventilator management.
- Collaborate with a dedicated care team with support in place.
- Minimum two years of pediatric cardiac ICU experience.
- APN/Nurse Practitioner eligibility.
- ACLS, PALS, BLS required.
- Experience with pediatric critical care procedures (as listed).
- Availability for nights and weekends preferred.
