Help guide patients through some of the most advanced and life-changing treatments in cancer care.

Christiana Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cell Therapy and Transplant Program . In this highly collaborative role, you will serve as a central point of coordination for patients and families navigating stem cell transplantation and CAR-T therapy-helping ensure that every step of their care is thoughtfully planned, communicated, and coordinated.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an oncology or hematology nurse who wants to expand their impact beyond the bedside while remaining deeply connected to patients, families, and the clinical care team.

Working alongside physicians, nurses, ancillary services, and external partners, including the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) , you will help coordinate the complex clinical journey from initial evaluation and donor search through treatment and post-transplant care.

What You'll Do

As a Cell Therapy & Transplant Coordinator, you will:

  • Educate and support patients and caregivers preparing for autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplantation and CAR-T therapy.
  • Coordinate pre-transplant evaluations and required testing, including cardiac, pulmonary, dental, laboratory, and other clinical clearances.
  • Facilitate related and unrelated donor evaluations, patient workups, collections, and CAR-T therapy coordination.
  • Partner with the NMDP to support unrelated donor searches and transplantation arrangements.
  • Coordinate closely with physicians, nursing, apheresis, laboratory, radiology, and other ancillary services to help ensure timely line placement, collections, testing, results, and treatment.
  • Help patients transition seamlessly between outpatient and inpatient care throughout the pre- and post-transplant journey.
  • Maintain required clinical documentation and databases and complete required reporting to CIBMTR.
  • Support quality management through internal audits, external audits, accreditation activities, and ongoing compliance with program standards.
  • Lead the weekly Stem Cell Transplant interdisciplinary review board and participate in quarterly program meetings.
  • Contribute to the implementation and onboarding of new cellular therapy services as the program continues to evolve.
Qualifications:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred
  • At least two years of oncology and/or hematology nursing experience required.
  • Stem cell transplant, bone marrow transplant, cellular therapy, or CAR-T experience preferred
  • Oncology nursing certification preferred
  • Candidates with an ADN must agree to complete a BSN within three years
