Position: Quality Assurance Technician 1

As a Quality Assurance Technician I, you will support our quality control and quality assurance operations, working hands‑on with products and processes that directly impact patient safety and customer confidence. You’ll partner with engineers on set-up and calibration tasks, perform inspections and rework, and use quality tools and systems to collect and evaluate data.

Knowledge
  • Basic understanding of quality control and quality assurance concepts in a production or operations environment.
  • Familiarity with measurement and test practices (e.g., inspections, calibrations, rework procedures).
  • Awareness of how quality data is used to assess process performance and product conformance.
  • Beneficial:
    Exposure to regulated industries such as medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing.
Skills
  • Ability to work with engineers on set‑up and calibration tasks for equipment, instruments, or processes.
  • Capable of following written procedures and quality assurance protocols related to production or operations.
  • Basic data skills—using software tools or programs to collect, enter, and evaluate data as part of quality checks.
  • Ability to assist in the development or refinement of methods and procedures for quality assurance and control (under guidance).
  • Comfortable conducting experiments with engineers, following instructions and accurately recording results.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and inspection activities.
  • Good communication skills to work within a team and ask clarifying questions when needed.

  • High School diploma (H.S./GED) or Associate Degree

  • Any prior experience in quality, manufacturing, lab work, or technical support is beneficial but not required.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $41,200- $61,800 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, education, business needs and market demand.
