Medical Device Quality Inspector

Receiving Inspector II

Location:

Newark, DE 19702 (Onsite)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay Rate: $30-33 per hour, depending on experience.

Inspect incoming materials and components for quality and accuracy. Perform visual and dimensional inspections. Verify quantities, specifications, purchase orders, and Bills of Material (BOM). Review supplier documentation, certifications, and specifications. Document inspection results in company systems. Identify and report nonconforming materials. Participate in quality investigations and corrective actions. Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding discrepancies. Perform first article inspections. Maintain material status and inventory control.

Support GMP and quality system requirements.

• Medical Device quality inspection or manufacturing experience.
• Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, scales, and measuring devices.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications, or schematics.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Medical device, pharmaceutical, or FDA regulated industry experience.
• Experience with Oracle ERP or Agile PLM systems.
• Knowledge of GMP and GDP requirements.
• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector certification.

• Lift up to 40 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
• Work in a manufacturing environment.

Overtime is currently available and may be required based on production needs.

Flexible start times available.

This is a 1-2 year contract position with potential for extension.

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour.
