Job Description

The Safety Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting construction field operations by ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards. This position is a key partner to project teams, focusing on proactively identifying hazards, promoting safe work practices, and delivering training programs.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct on-site safety inspections and audits.

+ Monitor PPE compliance and enforce safety protocols.

+ Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

+ Develop and deliver OSHA-based training programs.

+ Investigate incidents and document findings.

+ Maintain safety records and reporting documentation.

+ Collaborate with management and field teams.

+ Serve as liaison with OSHA and safety agencies.

Essential Skills

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ 3-5 years of experience in construction safety management or related construction field experience.

+ OSHA 30 certification.

+ Knowledge of electrical construction (NFPA 70E preferred).

+ Valid Driver's License.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ First Aid and CPR Certification.

+ Experience in safety program development.

+ Understanding of risk mitigation and incident investigation processes.

+ Proficiency in safety training and compliance management.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
