Job Overview

Research Scientist – Sample Analysis, Bioanalytical (GBA) Department. The GBA department focuses on the quantitation of small molecules, peptides, proteins, oligonucleotides, and biomarkers using chromatographic techniques coupled to tandem mass spectrometry. This role supports drug development of small molecules, antibody drug conjugates, proteins, and genetic medicines.

• Independently manage multiple sample analysis projects/studies with minimal supervision.
• Prepare, review, and understand study protocols; coordinate with client and internal resources to plan, design, and conduct studies.
• Evaluate significance of data, generate study summaries, and prepare reports.
• Setup, utilize, and maintain complex instrumentation.
• Communicate project timelines, status, data, reports, and inquiries to clients and study sites; address any issues promptly.
• Maintain regulatory compliance for each study, preparing QA related documents and addressing QA audit findings.
• Maintain project schedules and timelines.
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior scientific staff.
• Develop, validate, and run sensitive, reliable, and efficient LC/MS/MS assays for TK/PK assessment.
• Ensure GLP regulations and SOPs are followed in all bioanalytical service activities.

• Advanced degree (Ph.D.) in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related discipline.
• Direct experience with LC-MS/MS analysis (minimum of 2 years post-graduation); method development experience in a CRO environment is preferred.
• Understanding of experimental design, planning, and data collection and analysis software.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
