Research Scientist, Research Assistant/Associate

Responsibilities- Perform organic synthesis laboratory tests and procedures according to standard protocols and safety guidelines.
- Carry out daily lab operations including set‑up reactions, purification, and characterization (GC‑MS, NMR, IR, etc.).
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and devices.
- Execute designed experiments under supervision of senior chemists.
- Record, analyze, and report data using software and databases.
- Follow quality control and quality assurance procedures and regulations.
- Assist with research projects and experiments as needed.
- Communicate and collaborate with other lab staff, researchers, and supervisors.
Required:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in chemistry and similar technical fields, or high school diploma with 5+ years of relevant chemistry laboratory experience.
- At least five years of experience working in a chemistry laboratory setting.
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safe working practices.
- Experience in working with HF or willingness to learn how to deal with HF.
- Ability to carry out experiments independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team with proper attention to detail, accuracy, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to accurately record observations and results consistent with protection of intellectual property.
- Computer skills in Windows operating system and willingness to learn new software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple, complex, time‑sensitive projects.
Preferred:
- Interest in organic synthesis, creating new molecules and creating new routes to synthesize wanted molecules.

Pay Range: $85,801.00 – $
