Visual Merchandiser - Christiana Mall

About the Role

As a Visual Merchandiser, you contribute to an inspiring, elevated, and consistent customer experience by implementing visual standards and commercial excellence. You will be responsible for executing the visual, commercial, and styling curation according to visual & commercial guidelines for the store, using your trend and competitor awareness to provide colleagues with the correct information, coach, upskill, and develop the store team.

• Contribute to the total OMNI customer experience by ensuring visual and commercial curation according to guidelines.
• Represent yourself and the H&M Brand positively during customer interactions.
• Plan and organize workload based on the store activation plan and collaborate with store management and area visual managers.
• Launch and maintain global campaigns and sale activities on time according to brand standards.
• Ensure garment care, appropriate stock levels, and provide input on allocation to management teams.
• Follow up on sales reports (KPIs) and identify visual & commercial opportunities.
• Create actions to increase customer satisfaction, meet sales targets, store goals, and budget.
• Follow procedures, best practices for OMNI services, operational routines, legal requirements, and store communication.
• Keep up to date with fashion trends, competitors, and relevant influencers.
• Plan time for trend research, mood boards, and styling techniques to anticipate customer needs.
• Share, inspire, and educate store teams on seasonal changes, trends, visual & commercial information, and in‑store communication.
• Coach and develop visual and commercial skills of the store team to maintain high-quality presentation.
• Develop daily routines and best practices for visual standards and customer service engagement.
• Onboard new colleagues and provide ongoing visual and commercial training.
• Execute visual and commercial curation and styling based on the commercial calendar, allocation, and store activation plan.
• Manage sample picking routines, stockroom garment quantities, accessories, and shoes to create clear visual stories.
• Secure window and styling execution, maintain commercial layout, fixtures, and product placement.
• Maintain price signs and ensure compliance with global strategy and sales market requirements.
• Collaborate with facilities management to ensure all lighting works correctly.
• Maintain and care for display forms and interior materials with sustainability in mind.
• Keep the sales floor and back of house clean, organized, and safe.

• Curious, creative, proactive, solution‑focused, flexible, with effective communication skills to achieve results cross‑functionally.
• Interest in fashion and leadership skills, able to apply visual and commercial experience in a dynamic environment.
• Experience improving product presentation and commercial execution in store.
• Good knowledge of visual, commercial, and operational best practices, routines, and tools.
• Ability to analyze and act on weekly sales reports and the selling equation.
