Timberland: Supervisor - Christiana Mall

Overview

The Supervisor supports the store’s leadership team at Timberland, driving an excellent customer experience, coaching associates, and ensuring operational excellence across customer engagement, merchandising, and store standards. The role works closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to maximize profitability, foster an inclusive team culture, and contribute to the store’s success.

• Lead by example, coaching and developing associates to deliver high levels of customer engagement and meet productivity goals.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, floor coverage, and task delegation.
• Support stockroom operations by organizing inventory, processing shipments, and ensuring timely product flow to the sales floor.
• Assist in training and onboarding new team members, providing ongoing feedback and support.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product replenishment aligns with brand directives.
• Support inventory integrity through proper shipping, receiving, and loss prevention practices.
• Promote community engagement by participating in local initiatives and events.
• Uphold company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures while fostering a positive and inclusive store environment.

• 1+ year of retail or store leadership experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Proven ability to drive results through store teams and exceed sales and profit goals.
• Strong coaching, motivating, and team‑building skills with a diverse workforce.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and influence skills.
• Solution‑oriented, flexible, and capable of working independently under shifting priorities.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and retail software tools.
• Physical ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and perform tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight.

• Hourly pay: $16.80 – $25.20 USD.
• Eligibility for incentive and commission plans related to sales performance.
