Are you passionate about renewable energy and eager to make a positive impact on your community? We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solar Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in connecting residential and small business customers with the benefits of local community solar farms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: As a Solar Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to engage with residential and small business customers in your region (DE, MD, maybe south NJ).
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in solar energy and our community solar and other energy offerings. You'll be expected to articulate the financial and environmental aspects of the service convincingly.
  • Sales Targets: You'll have sales targets to meet, and your success will be measured by your ability to convert potential customers into enthusiastic community solar subscribers.

Qualifications
  • Sales

    Experience:

    Previous sales experience, especially in the energy sector, is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse customers.
  • Self-Motivated: A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Technical Aptitude: An ability to grasp technical concepts related to solar energy and explain them in simple terms to customers.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and evolving industry.
