Founded in 1935, Roto-Rooter is North America's largest plumbing, drain cleaning, and water cleanup services provider, operating in over 100 company-owned branches, independent contractor territories, and approximately 400 independent franchise operations, serving about 90% of the U.S. population and parts of Canada.

We are looking for Outside Sales Representatives for both the Excavation and Water Restoration departments. Ideal candidates will actively pursue sales opportunities and qualified leads provided by field service technicians and call centers. This role offers competitive compensation, flexible schedules, and top industry benefits.

Average annual salary $55,000-$75,000 plus mileage reimbursement.

• All leads provided, no cold calls.
• Flexible work schedules.

• Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for plumbing or water-related issues.
• Leverage pricing matrix and insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes for repair/replacement options and effectively close sales.
• Be a trusted information resource for customers.

• Identify and sell opportunities to repair and/or replace sewer lines for residential and commercial customers.
• Conduct camera assessments of sewer lines to determine root interruption or breakage needing repair or replacement.

• Identify and sell opportunities to mitigate property damage caused by water to residential and commercial markets.
• Perform assessments of property to determine moisture levels and the need for demolition and drying.

• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Plumbing experience not required.
• Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.
• Working knowledge of common software programs.
• Previous outside sales experience of in-home services strongly desired; all outside sales experience considered.
