The Inside Sales Representative will act as the primary liaison for assigned customers, managing order processing and service inquiries while also identifying and nurturing opportunities to grow business. Excellent teamwork and collaboration will help as you work closely with sales, planning, logistics, and technical teams to ensure seamless customer experience from initial contact through final delivery. Your ability to manage details, solve problems, and build relationships will be key to your success.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned customer accounts (small-to-mid size and transactional and select growth accounts) ensuring consistent engagement and responsiveness.
  • Manage inbound customer inquiries including pricing, product availability, specifications, and lead times.
  • Re-engage dormant or inactive accounts through targeted outreach.
  • Build and maintain relationships with procurement teams, buyers, and technical stakeholders.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsiveness and issue resolution.
  • Develop and execute targeted call lists to engage new and existing customers.
  • Prospect, qualify, and convert new business opportunities.
  • Identify upselling and cross‑sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Support and attend industry trade shows and customer visits to promote products and expand market presence.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and contribute to forecasting activities. Prepare customer‑specific data, opportunity tracking, and pre‑call planning materials.
  • Follow up on meetings, samples, trials, and open action items to maintain sales momentum.
  • Prepare and deliver customer quotations aligned with margin targets and market conditions.
  • Manage contract pricing, rebates, and spot pricing requests.
  • Monitor market trends, including raw material fluctuations (e.g., resins, additives), to support pricing decisions.
  • Utilize CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP) to track quotes, pipeline, and customer activity.
  • Convert quotes into sales orders and manage them through fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, production planning, and logistics teams to ensure:
    • Inventory availability
    • Accurate lead times
    • On‑time delivery
  • Troubleshoot and resolve order‑related issues such as delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
  • Ensure order accuracy and efficient execution across multiple SKUs.
  • Provide basic technical guidance on polymer film products, specifications, and applications.
  • Translate customer requirements into internal product specifications (e.g., gauge, additives, performance characteristics).
  • Collaborate with Technical Service and R&D teams for complex product inquiries or development needs.
  • Communicate effectively with both commercial and technical stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in Customer Service, Order Management, or Account Support within a manufacturing or packaging environment.
  • Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is required.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills with a customer‑first mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with CRM tools preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, dynamic work environment.
