Business Development Director, Hospice

Accent Care is seeking a Business Development Director, Hospice to drive growth within our biotechnology and pharmaceuticals hospice division. In this role, you will develop and execute strategic business plans, build and manage relationships with healthcare providers, payers, and referral partners, and identify new market opportunities. You will collaborate closely with clinical, sales, and marketing teams to expand hospice services, analyze market trends and performance metrics, and ensure alignment with regulatory and quality standards.

This position requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to grow hospice services in target markets
• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, healthcare providers, and payer organizations
• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, partnerships, and service lines
• Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting, and performance metrics to meet growth targets
• Collaborate with clinical, marketing, and operations teams to align growth strategies with service capabilities
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide decision-making
• Lead contract negotiations with key partners and payers within established guidelines
• Ensure business development activities align with regulatory, compliance, and quality standards
• Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to senior leadership on market trends and results
• Mentor and support field sales or liaison teams to drive consistent growth initiatives
