Position:
Security Officer Communications Dispatcher in Newark, DE – you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, including Financial Institutions. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Professional supporting a dynamic financial institution location. In this role, you will monitor communications, coordinate responses, manage access activity, and help support smooth security-related operations while delivering outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Mon 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Tue 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Wed 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Thu 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Fri 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, communication protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and/or other dispatch systems to receive calls for assistance, prioritize incidents, and coordinate the timely assignment of personnel to reported situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering relevant details and relaying clear information to on-site personnel, supervisors, and/or emergency services as needed.
- Maintain detailed activity logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, documenting calls, responses, and unusual activity in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal standards.
- Support security-related operations by monitoring designated areas through available systems, helping to identify unusual activity, and communicating updates to appropriate personnel for follow-up.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
