Sheet Metal Installer – Residential New Construction
Location:
Newark, DE
The successful Sheet Metal Installer will install HVAC duct systems and related components in residential new construction homes. The position works closely with foremen, superintendents, and construction teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards. The installer will install residential duct systems, read plans, and work at various stages of single-family homes, townhomes, and other residential new construction projects.
The installer will also help train helpers and apprentices.

Qualifications- Licensed as a journeyman (preferred) OR 3+ years of new home construction experience
- Knowledge of applicable state codes
- Hands-on knowledge of residential HVAC construction
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outside in a variety of weather conditions, from heights, and in tight spaces
- Own hand tools regularly used by Sheet Metal Installers
- Strong communication, self-motivated, career-minded, teamwork, courtesy with customers and fellow workers, and mentoring ability; commitment to quality work and continual skill improvement
