Plumbing Service Technician
Odessa, DE
• Full-time
Chesapeake Home Services, LLC is expanding into a new plumbing service territory and is looking for a strong, self‑sufficient Plumbing Service Technician to help get it off the ground.
This role is hands‑on from day one—you’ll be running calls, solving problems, and helping us build the foundation of this service area.
As the territory grows, there will be opportunities for advancement; first and foremost—we need someone who can do the work and do it well.
Benefits- Competitive salary + performance bonuses
- $5,000 sign‑on bonus (after 90 days)
- 100% employer‑paid health insurance (employee coverage)
- Dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
- 401(k) with up to 4% company match
- Paid holidays & PTO
- Tuition reimbursement (approved programs)
- Gym reimbursement
- Travel compensation during training
- Run residential plumbing service calls independently
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems
- Perform installations and maintenance
- Deliver high‑quality customer service
- Use digital tools for scheduling and job tracking (Service Titan preferred)
- Help establish and grow our presence in a new service area
This is a solo technician role to start.
- You’ll be the primary technician in this territory
- You will handle on‑call emergency service as needed
- The goal is to grow the workload and add additional technicians over time
We understand this isn’t the easiest setup—but it’s a great opportunity for someone who wants steady work, independence, and the chance to grow with a company.
Requirements- 3+ years of residential plumbing service experience
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
- Experience with scheduling tools (Service Titan preferred)
- Comfortable using tablets and mobile devices
- Backflow certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
- Clean 3‑year driving record
- Ability to stay organized and handle multiple calls
- Someone who takes ownership of their work
- A technician who doesn’t need to be micromanaged
- Someone comfortable working independently
- A person who wants to grow with a company—not just clock in and out
- You prefer a fully staffed team environment from day one
- You’re not comfortable handling responsibility independently
- You’re not open to occasional after‑hours emergency calls
Right now, this role is about doing the work and helping us build.
As the territory grows, so do the opportunities—but we’re looking for someone who’s ready to step in, take ownership, and make it happen from day one.
