Canon U.S.A. seeks an On Site Field Service Technician for a 3pm-12am shift supporting manufacturing customers. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair Canon imaging and printing systems on-site, ensuring high uptime and exceptional service. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electro-mechanical and network issues, performing preventive maintenance, calibrating and testing equipment, and documenting all work. You'll train end users on proper operation and partner with technical teams to resolve complex problems, reflecting Canon's commitment to innovation, quality, and customer focus.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair Canon imaging and printing equipment at customer sites
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and network issues using diagnostic tools and documentation
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Calibrate, test, and verify equipment performance to Canon quality standards
- Document service activities, parts usage, and customer interactions in service systems
- Provide on-site user training and basic operational guidance to customers
- Collaborate with technical support and engineering teams to resolve complex issues
- Maintain accurate inventory of parts, tools, and service supplies
- Adhere to safety, ESD, and quality procedures in field environments
- Support rotating 3pm-12am shift coverage and occasional on-call needs
