We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Speech‑Language Pathologist to work at our awesome school partner in Newark, DE. In this role, you will be working with a blended caseload of elementary school students for the 2026‑2027 school year.
Your expertise will directly impact students' ability to communicate effectively, participate fully in classroom activities, and achieve their academic and social potential. August 18, 2026 - June 15th, 2027 - Salary Range: $60, (annualized, based on experience)
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students to identify communication challenges for about 45 students
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs, incorporating evidence‑based therapy techniques
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to implement effective communication strategies and support systems
- Monitor student progress regularly and adjust therapy approaches accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate families on speech development milestones and provide guidance for ongoing support at home
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and compliance records in accordance with school policies
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech‑Language Pathologist with appropriate credentials for school settings
- Familiarity with school‑based programs, IEP (Individualized Education Program) development, and multidisciplinary collaboration
