Application Programmer III – Java Information Technology

Job  | Newark, Delaware | Contract – 12+ months

Innova Solutions is hiring a Software Developer/Java Developer to work on cloud‑native, AI and machine‑learning oriented applications using Java/J2EE technologies, Kubernetes/Openshift, AWS/Azure and modern monitoring tools.

• Design, develop, and deploy Java/J2EE services in a Kubernetes/Openshift environment.
• Integrate Spring, Kafka, Cassandra, and RESTful services with secure communication (WS‑Security).
• Monitor application performance using Dynatrace and support incident resolution.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, or equivalent) and enforce code quality standards with JUnit and Sonar.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams using Agile/Scrum practices.

• 7+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Strong knowledge of container and cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Open Shift, AWS, Azure).
• Hands‑on experience with Spring, Spring Integration, Kafka, Cassandra, and No
  
  SQL databases.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries (Oracle/SQL Server) and Unix/Linux scripting.
• Experience with UI technologies (Angular, React) and UI testing tools.
• Familiarity with code quality tools (JUnit,ar, Crucible) and modern development methodologies (Agile).

• Expertise in AI/ML technologies and modern monitoring tools.
• Experience with cloud automation and IaC tools.
• Knowledge of Dev Sec Ops  practices.

Pay Range: $60–$65 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), HSA/FSA, life, disability, and paid leave.
