Driver and Shop Assistant

Nickle Electrical Companies seeks a reliable Driver and Shop Assistant to support our construction and electrical teams. Responsibilities include safely transporting tools, materials, and small equipment to job sites, organizing and maintaining the shop and warehouse, loading/unloading deliveries, and performing basic material handling. You'll assist field crews with staging materials, ensuring clean, safe work areas, and following all safety procedures. Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver tools, equipment, and materials to job sites
• Load and unload trucks, verifying materials against delivery documentation
• Organize, clean, and maintain the shop, yard, and warehouse areas
• Assist with inventory control, labeling, and staging materials for upcoming projects
• Support field crews by preparing and refueling tools, equipment, and supplies
• Follow all company and OSHA safety rules, including proper PPE use
• Perform basic inspections of vehicles and equipment and report maintenance needs
• Assist with handling returns, waste, and recyclables from job sites
• Coordinate with project managers and foremen on delivery schedules and priorities
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and material movements
