Accounting Manager, Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk
Trustpoint is excited to partner with a growing and dynamic legal services provider in their search of an experienced Accounting Manager to support daily and monthly financial operations. This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented professional who enjoys managing a wide range of accounting and bookkeeping functions while contributing to a collaborative, team-focused environment. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with established procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records
- Reconcile bank accounts and review financial transactions for accuracy
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Assist with month-end and periodic close activities
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting
- Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters
- Perform general accounting tasks and data entry projects as needed
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and financial standards
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping functions
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Quick Books Online
- Ability to compile, analyze, and interpret financial data
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial recordkeeping
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Reliable with strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Client-focused mindset with professional communication skills
Schedule and Work Environment:
- Monday through Friday, 9am-6pm
- Professional, collaborative office environment designed to support productivity
- Team-oriented culture with regular staff engagement activities
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range of $85,000 – $105,000 annually based on experience
- Discretionary bonus opportunities
