Industry leading company with over 40 years of continued success is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team.
Responsibilities- Manage the firm’s general ledger by ensuring journal entries are recorded accurately and on time
- Perform bank reconciliations and analyze variances in the GL
- Prepare financial statements and periodic reports for management
- Support month-end and year-end close activities
- Process accounts payable invoices, expenses, and credit card charges
- Oversee cash receipts, including wires, ACH, and credit card transactions
- Assist with additional accounting functions such as processing and reconciling deposits, receipts and disbursements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years relevant experience in general ledger operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Prior experience in a professional services firm preferred
